My husband and I remember Fred well, after we were all married Fred and his wife rented the house next door to us in Paramount. We got tobegood friends, and shared many great TACO NIGHTS. We would get to their house hang out then dinner would be ready and before we sat down to eat Fred would say. "WAIT IGOTTA GO GET MY EATING SHIRT ON" he would come back to the table with his stained Tshirt on so he wouldn't mess up his shirts. He was such funny guy, we loved having him as a neighbor.

I didn't know Fred in high school other than having a class with him and seeing him around campus. We might have spoken a few times here and there. It was when I was attending Cal State University Long Beach that I ran into him on the tennis courts. During the next couple of years we'd get together regularly and play tennis, sometimes as a team. He was outgoing and funny. He used to tell me stories about his adventures and misadventures. It would have been nice to have known him better when we were younger. I lost contact with him after I graduated. God Bless his soul.
