I met Dale in 10th grade. We were on the basketball team together, "C" team. Dale was a lot of fun, he joked around alot. We had a couple of classes together, one was science. He livened up the class. I didn't get to know him on a deeper personal level, I knew him on a social level. In 1980 I was teaching in Bell and stopped by Douglas Burgers after work and ran into Dale. He was living in Bell at the time. He was still full of jokes. That was the last time I saw him. I know that Millard had a close personal relationship with him.

Dale was my neighbor two doors down. We spent many summer nights playing baseball in the neighborhood, I was the only girl allowed to play.
We moved away when I was 15 and lost touch. Both his siblings have passed away also.
