Gail Elizabeth Briscoe, 51, daughter of Arthur H. Thompson and Dorothy A. Hornback Thompson, was born June 22, 1950, at Long Beach, Calif. She died Feb. 9, 2002, at her home at Summersville.

She married Kenny Wayne Briscoe Dec. 16, 1967, at Norwalk, Calif. They were married 34 years and had three sons.
The Briscoes moved to Summersville July 1994 from their home in California. Mrs. Briscoe worked at Mountain View Fabricating for several years before she became ill.
She was preceded in death by her father and a granddaughter.
Surviving are her husband of Summersville; three sons, Kenny Wayne of California, Lee M. of Summersville and Brian A. of Arkansas; her mother of Summersville; one brother, Walter "Wally" Thompson of California; and 13 grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home of Summersville.
